The Need Ensure that a maximum number of the 500 Food Service Directors attending an upcoming food service industry conference (National Association of College and University Food Service Conference) stop by the Prince Castle booth.
The Solution SDA contacted all attendees before the conference, informing them that the Romar Pasta Cooker will be demonstrated. Following the conference, SDA contacted attendees again to gauge reaction to the product, inquire as to additional information requests, as well as to identify new equipment purchase plans, and set appointments. Existing product literature was utilized.
The Result A 77% telephone completion rate was achieved. 20% of completed interviews constituted "hot leads" with whom the company's sales representatives followed up.
